Introduction

This page provides guidance on creating an account on Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com) or Red Hat Confluence (spaces.redhat.com). 

Note: For the time being, Confluence admins need to create new Confluence accounts for users. Please send a request to rh-issues@redhat.com to request a new Confluence account. Ensure you have followed the instructions to create an account at the SSO portal (under "If you do not have an account at sso.redhat.com") before you request a Confluence account. 


Steps to create an account

If you have an account at sso.redhat.com

If you do not have an account at sso.redhat.com

  • Click on the Log In button in the right top corner 
  • Click on the Sign-Up button in the right top corner 
  • Put your username and password on the sso.redhat.com log-in page 
  • Please use forgot password option if you don't remember the password 

  • Create an account at SSO portal using your Red Hat email 
  • Post successful login at SSO you will be redirected to Jira or Confluence based on the URL clicked earlier 
  • Select your language preference and avatar 
  • Post successful login at SSO you will be redirected to Jira  or Confluence based on the URL clicked earlier if not then hit Red Hat Jira URL or Confluence URL again 
  • Browse your Project or request new (Jira)
  • Browse Your space or request new on support (Confluence)
  • Browse your Project or request new (Jira)
  • Browse Your space or request new on support (Confluence)
